Here's another view, in another color combo. This one is quite striking. I like it.

The photographer tells us:

"Measuring Up" is a purse I made from colored tape measures and a vintage tag from a pay scale.

This piece was meant to capture the implicit beauty of typically overlooked day-to-day objects, specifically the seamstress/dieter’s tape measure. This object has long been a source of both pleasure and pain in a woman’s life. In its new form, the measuring tape creates a fully functional purse or clutch that can still be used for last minute gauging.
